KOF XIV launched exclusively on PS4 back in 2016 before being ported to Microsoft Windows and Japanese arcades in 2017. What's more, it's been over a decade since a King of Fighters launched on multiple platforms on day one.

It's a positive turn for the series, which last appeared on an Xbox console back in 2011. When it does release, KOF XV will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Windows 10, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. The game does not yet have a release date, although it is set for release in the first quarter of 2022.
